Resource recovery at the ICTA-UAB LCA Symposium!
The 1st international Symposium of Life Cycle Assessment organized by the Sostenipra research group was held on the 4th to 6th of June at the Universitat Autónoma de Barcelona. I was not only able to present our research on urine recovery and reuse in hydroponic tomato production, but I was also given the opportunity to be part of the organization committee!
It was a very interesting and enriching experience, specially due to the exploration of circularity and resource use proposed by the symposium call.
Project Kick-off Presentation:
The project content, aim and progress has been presented for the first time on the 15th of July at the University of Bologna as well as the Institute of environmental sciences (ICTA-UAB) in Barcelona.
This initial project dissemination marks a first deliverable within its early days, being crucial to create connections and a relevant networking.
The project will be updated regularly, offering open workshops and seminars every three months, which will be announced through the project website, blog (https://sites.google.com/view/madloop/news) and the lead researchers social networks (https://www.linkedin.com/in/veronica-arcas-pilz-011554127/).
