With the aim to contribute to current debates in the geohumanities and to rethink mobile methods creatively, the Unit of Padova intends to reflect on the ability of creative and narrative interventions in creating urban imaginaries and shaping our experience of the city through geo-artistic collaborations and dialogue on urban cultures. Through the consultancy of external experts, young artists will be selected for the Mobile Art Residency (MAR), which will start a geo-artistic collaboration between researchers, artists, and curators promoting an exchange of expertise, methodological and theoretical pproaches.
Furthermore, a creative auto-ethnographic walkshop will be designed, in collaboration with a graphic artist and open to citizens, students of high schools and of the University of Padova. This walkshop will involve participants in a creative walking activity through the city of Padova, aimed at exploring urban spaces and experiencing the composition of moving “plotlines” and storylines composed by walking in the city. This activity will be realised with the MuGeo, creating a connection between the museum's indoor spaces and outdoor urbanscapes.
