The IN-EULALIA lexicon contains 1,300 high-frequency terms with translations into the project’s six languages and into English, as well as audio files and images: it is the main output of WP2
The main outcome of Work Package 2 (WP2) is the IN-EULALIA lexicon, which is an extension of the frequency-based lexicon produced by the EULALIA project. It comprises 1,300 Latin words, accompanied by audio files featuring classical and scholastic pronunciations. The lexicon also includes translations into Italian, Spanish, French, Portuguese, German and English, as well as images in some cases. The inclusion of multiple senses aims to make the lexicon as inclusive as possible.
The images are the result of an initiative involving many schools and university students from the various project countries (several of which have become Associated Partners). A photo gallery has been created for certain terms that have left their mark on European culture, particularly in intellectual, ethical and institutional discourse. This gallery features images produced by each of IN-EULALIA’s partner countries. The images generally reflect the students' personal experiences as they reflected on the words, and are intended primarily as an invitation to creativity and imagination.
