Vademecum per chi cammina in città
An interdisciplinary manual that brings together maps, photographs, stories and comics to explore cities at a slow pace, the result of the WALC research project by the Universities of Bologna, Padua and Milan-Bicocca.
Pedestrian mobility reveals inequalities in access to services, the quality of public space, forms of urban participation, the bonds and memories that inhabit places, as well as the challenges of sustainability, health and urban proximity. This volume brings together contributions that explore walking as a daily, social, political and experiential practice.
