Training activities for students

Training is one of the key aspects of the Suasa Project. Alongside the excavation work, the project offers participants the opportunity to take part in specialist workshops focusing on the methodologies and technologies used in archaeological research.

Participants have the opportunity to acquire practical skills in surveying, documenting and managing archaeological data through specific training activities, carried out with the support of professionals and researchers in the field. This approach allows for an in-depth exploration of the potential of digital technologies and non-invasive surveys for the understanding, protection and enhancement of cultural heritage.

Particular attention is paid to the use of equipment and methodologies such as Total Stations, GNSS systems, laser scanners, digital photogrammetry and tools for the management and analysis of spatial and archaeological data, offering participants a practical training experience focused on the latest practices in archaeological research
