It is with great pleasure that we announce the launch of the first official Alma Mater Studiorium - University of Bologna Alumni Association: the USA East Coast Alumni Chapter .
The University of Bologna enjoys a long history of educating and training some of the world’s greatest minds. As you know firsthand, many of these talented alumni have traveled or relocated to the United States to build their lives and explore new career opportunities — just like you did! Over the course of the last few months, a small group of dedicated alumni got together in New York City with the goal of bringing to life an engaging and meaningful program specifically designed around the interests and needs of our alumni population. This is how the board was created and the USA East Coast Alumni Chapter was born.
We are now in the process of building our robust network by identifying and reaching out to all alumni on the East Coast. Help us spread the word with all your UNIBO connections and encourage them to stay in touch with the Association by:
We will use these platforms to send invitations to events and update everyone on any new initiatives.
You are also encouraged to participate actively in the life of the Board by becoming more involved. You can join the board (or a committee) to build an even stronger plan by contributing your ideas and time. You could host a meeting or an event at your workplace. Or you might be able to explore whether your organization is in a position to sponsor a chapter event. If interested, please contact (instructions) and know that we would be most grateful.
Finally, we are thrilled to inform you that our Rector Francesco Ubertini will join us for our kick-off event on April 25, 2018 at 6:00 pm at the Delegation of the European Union to the United Nation in New York City.
