26 February 2025, Aula II(first floor) - What You Need to Make a Video Podcast

  • State of the art: hardware, technical tools, and software.
  • Setup for video: lighting, sound, and set design.

5 March 2025, Aula II(first floor) - Writing and Speaking in a Video Podcast

  • Writing: sources, narrative structure, and outlines for talk and narrative formats.
  • Public speaking techniques: pacing, rhythm, and authenticity.
  • How to set up and conduct an interview.
  • Creating an outline for the first episode.
  • Voice exercises: vocal messages and reading aloud.

The course is taught by Edoardo D'Elia

Edoardo D'Elia is the creator and host of La Merenda Podcast, the first podcast show that explores living with culture and creativity.

He teaches Writing and Argumentation at the University of Bologna and public speaking at Bologna Business School. He is the author of Parlare. Strumenti e tecniche del discorso (Hoepli). He has written for Il Foglio (on innovation) and Rolling Stone (on food philosophy). He co-wrote the award-winning short film Wind Day, set in Taranto, sponsored by the Ministry of Cultural Heritage.
