Self-employed workers 

When they work at the premises of the client (i.e. the University), the rules in force for employees apply to self-employed workers too. This means that, depending on their tasks, they are required to take training courses:

The general course earns you a permanent credit; no refresher training will be necessary.

Specific training – Working in a laboratory, on archaeological excavations, outdoor... (Module 2 + Module 3)

  • Module 3 is held in person (in the classroom or via TEAMS); for information, please contact your home structure’s Local or Central Safety Officer. 
  • Specific training – Working in construction sites (Module 2 + Module 3 + Module 4)
    Module 4 is held in person (in the classroom or via TEAMS). For information, please contact your home structure’s Local or Central Safety Officer.

If you trained outside the University, please send your certificate to your home structure’s Local or Central Safety Officer.

Hazardous equipment (forklift, tractor, MEWP, etc.) users must train to use such equipment and are responsible for all costs incurred.
