Knowing how to protect yourself from laboratory risks
Before starting work
All staff who work in laboratories where specific (chemical, biological, mechanical, etc.) risks are present, or work on archaeological excavations or carry out field work must take Module 3 (in addition to Module 1 and Module 2). The course is held in person (in the classroom or via TEAMS) and specifically designed to provide you with the knowledge you need to protect yourself from task-specific risks. For information, please contact your home structure’s Local or Central Safety Officer.
The certificate is valid for five years and for all degree programmes exposed to the same type of risk.
Specific training certificates obtained outside the University of Bologna are not valid.
