Selecting Case Studies based on Existing Historic Building

The project enters a key phase as each partner works to identify an existing historic building to be used as a case study for 3D modelling and educational visualisation.

At this stage, each partner will identify a case study based on an actual historic building, selected within their national context and, whenever possible, in close proximity to their university, in order to support educational and teaching activities.

The selection process is based on comparison and analysis of shared evaluation criteria, including the historical significance of the building, the availability of reference materials, modelling complexity and feasibility, state of conservation, current use, accessibility, and educational value. This structured approach ensures that the selected case studies are both scientifically relevant and suitable for effective teaching and learning activities.
