Integrating Laser Scanner and Photogrammetry

BIM modeling for the pilot project, carried out on behalf of the UniBo team, was initiated with a TLS survey of the Church of Madonna della Cintura in San Giovanni Persiceto, BO. A total of 34 scans were taken to thoroughly document both the interior and exterior of the church. In addition, hundreds of photographs were captured to construct a photogrammetric model. All data were then sorted and merged to produce scan outputs suitable for BIM model development.
