Europe’s Eye on Raw Materials

The RawMatCop Programme, coordinated by EIT RawMaterials, aims to develop skills, expertise and applications of Copernicus data to the raw materials sector.

First online advanced short course completed!

The First Online Version of the Advanced Course of Remote Sensing for Raw Materials concluded yesterday, 16th of October 2025. Participants practically learned how to:

- Managing environmental impacts of mining,
- Exploring new mineral deposits,
- Monitoring mine progress,
- Detecting ground movements...by the use of satellite images.
