TEACHING

A working group on educational innovation was created and coordinated by Raffaella Tonin

Enhancement of the research focus on the teaching of languages, interpretation and translation, including cognitive approaches: transversal and long-term action, already launched with the first two editions of the Research Methods course (lecturers: S. Bernardini and R. Muñoz Martín)

First edition of a series of meetings on six different topics entitled "Trainer to Trainer": induction of newly hired and junior staff members, to share the vision of the department, to establish good practices and ensure the consistency of content and methods

Creation of a fully equipped room with a video conferencing system for international teaching: equipment installed in the Lab4 of DITLab (main Campus)

Running of an optional course on the methodology of research: Research Methods course (two editions, lecturers: S. Bernardini e R. Muñoz Martín)

Recruitment of a research manager who, in addition to supporting competitive planning, will support the communication of DIT research, encouraging its dissemination among students: Erika Dalan (Admin staff)

THIRD MISSION

Creation of a Third-Mission Committee: headed by Rachele Antonini

Strengthening of the entrepreneurial culture of the members of the Department: organization of meetings between students and companies (lunchtime opportunities) and students and alumni who founded companies (e.g. imprenDITori); under the lead of Danio Maldussi.

Identification of a person acting as reference point for relations with schools: Francesca Gatta (2019), Cristiana Cervini (2020)

A sense of belonging has been developed among students and alumni by developing the SSLMIT-DIT Alumni Chapter
