This project lies in the health and social care research area, one of the most important research field identified by the 2022WHO blueprint for dementia research. We analize new data collected or existing datasets from the national and regional health information systems, in collaboration with the Welfare Directorate of the Lombardy Regional government, and also national and international experts and scientists in the field of dementia and Chronic Disease. 

In particular, this project aims to:

• Elaborate an updated state-of-the-art about dementia epidemiology
• Investigate existing and new risk factors related to dementia
• Evaluate national policies related to dementia in Europe and at the global level
