• Isolation and genomic/phenotypic characterisation of natural bacteriophages isolated from different environments.
• Phage engineering and cloning of phage enzymes.
• Study of phage-bacteria interaction based on high resolution/content microscopy and G. mellonella model.
• Development of phage-based biosensors for the detection of pathogenic bacteria
• Study of synergistic activity of phages and antibiotics against drug-resistant bacteria
• Development of Artificial Intelligence tool for phage- bacteria prediction in collaboration with the Italian startup Fagoterapia LAB.
