Main research activities/topics/projects

Since 1982 the Computer Science Dipartiment of the University of Turin has been active in promoting and organising a Ph.D. Program in Computer Science at the University of Turin. The PhD program in Computer Science covers a broad spectrum of ICT areas, from foundational aspects to their applications. Areas of interest cover a vast spectrum of CS, including:

    • Artificial intelligence and human/machine interaction

    • Databases, systems and computer architectures

    • Image processing and virtual/augmented reality

    • Languages, algorithms and models

 PhD students are inserted in a lively international environment, working in English. Opportunities to learn or improve Italian are also offered.
