Main research activities/topics/projects

Green and sustainable preparation of ruthenium complexes and their catalytic processes through mechanochemistry. The aim of the topic is the preparation of efficient ruthenium-based catalysts and their application in catalytic procedures by mechanochemistry route, eliminating the use of solvents for dissolving reagents and other solubility-related issues or in solution with non-toxic solvents and under milder conditions to achieve more sustainable methods associated with lower consumption of energy and atoms economy.
