Main research activities/topics/projects

The proposed scientific work is concentrated in the field of experimental study of nuclear structure, employing heavy ion beams and gamma spectroscopy techniques. We developed gamma tracking arrays utilizing germanium detectore to explore the structure of neutron-rich nuclei through both low-energy beams using multiple-transfer reactions and intermediate-energy secondary beams employing knock-out reactions. One of the main focus of group is in the test and exploitation of isospin symmetry to study the structure of proton-rich nuclei.
