The research activities of the molecular modeling laboratory concern wide-ranging atomistic simulation studies. In silico studies of bulk, 2D, and 1D materials, and solid devices based on inorganic components using quantum-mechanical approaches. In silico studies of proteins, membranes, polymers, and DNA-based systems using quantum and classical mechanical approaches.
English or Italian
The candidate should have a basic experience about Ubuntu platform as well as a basic knowledge of computational chemistry.
