Main research activities/topics/projects

We offer several opportunities to join one of our laboratories under the supervision of expert staff members. We cover virtually all areas of psychological research offering many diverse research and training opportunities. Working language is in any case English, knowledge of Italian is welcome but not necessary for working reasons. Brazilian PhD students while in Padova will be offered the possibility to benefit from the same training opportunities offered to the PhD students enrolled in our program.

Brazilian PhD students are particularly welcome to join the following Laboratories and respective project areas:

Ti.Me. Group

Project Area: the Lab hosts a variety of research projects which mainly focus on exploring time perception and memory-attentional processes. Ongoing project areas include the effect of emotion on time processing using physiological measures. Non-invasive brain stimulation techniques in the study of time processing, in particular electric stimulation. The contribution of temporal abilities in time-based prospective memory.
