Main research activities/topics/projects

The LMCCI Master's Degree Program offers high-level training in two foreign languages, with fundamental theoretical and practical principles of translation/communication and economic-legal, socio-territorial, and historical disciplines.

Special attention is dedicated to the development of linguistic and metalinguistic knowledge to equip students with analytical tools for communicative and translation practices in general and professional contexts. Lessons in the French, English, Spanish, and German fields are conducted entirely in the corresponding foreign language. Lessons in the Chinese, Japanese, Arabic and Russian fields are initially conducted in both Italian and the foreign language, with a progressive and predominant use of the foreign language. Classroom activities are supplemented by seminar work, including contributions from external experts (during educational workshops) from companies, European institutions, non-governmental organizations, and linguistic service enterprises, with the aim of bringing students closer to the operational reality of various sectors.
