Main research activities/topics/projects

For PhD students (Italian or English language):
The curriculum "General and social pedagogy, educational research, history of education and children's literature" is dedicated to the study of the theoretical, historical-educational and epistemological paradigms of pedagogical research in the present and in its cultural and scientific evolution. The educational research activities privileged by the curriculum are the investigation of pedagogical devices connected to political and social phenomena and changes; the deepening of the most innovative cultural, scientific, historiographic orientations, and of the intercultural, multicultural, transcultural ones, of lifelong learning; the analytical definition of the material and immaterial dimension of education and its stories; observation and analysis of educational institutions and different learning contexts; the study of the classics. Particular attention is paid to documentary research, including archival research,

to interdisciplinary connections, to the study of the sources of the history of education and to children's literature in its historical, literary, artistic, pedagogical dimension and as a document of the imagination of yesterday and today.

For Master students (Italian Language)

In the master's degree course in Pedagogical Sciences, at the chair of Theory and methods of pedagogical consultancy, a research project for the tutoring and supervision of coaches is active as part of the national project P.I.P.P.I. The area of intervention concerns families with social vulnerability and the implementation of educational interventions in a systemic perspective. The project is part of the agreements signed between the University of Padua (Prof.ssa Paola Milani) and the Department of Education Sciences (Prof. Fabio Olivieri)

For Post Doc (Italian or English Language)
The CSUPP is the research laboratory in Consulting, Supervision and Pedagogical Professionalism active in the Department of Education Sciences of the University of Roma Tre coordinated by Professor Anna Aluffi Pentini.  The fields of research of the CSUPP concerns:
- professional development of the pedagogues and educators with particular reference to the professional counseling activities in the socio-educational services , social welfare and social health;
- Action Research;
- Pedagogical counseling.

In parallel with the scientific research activity, the CSUPP offers professional supervision of educators, pedagogues and social workers.
