Main research activities/topics/projects

The research group conducts research activities in the fields of detecting contaminants, drugs, and other emerging chemical risks in animal species, feed, food, and throughout the food chain. The research group possesses the expertise and certified facilities in conformity with the ISO 9001 standard to develop analytical approaches based on chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry and to apply these approaches for the analysis of food, feed, and other biological matrices. The most recent research activities have focused on the analysis of perfluoroalkyl substances, mycotoxins, antibiotics, and pesticides.
