Main research activities/topics/projects

The study aims to describe the Male Reproductive System of Tupiperla tessellata (Brauer, 1868) and T. robusta Froehlich, 1998 and to characterize the testicular follicles histologically, using light microscopy. The MRS of these two Tupiperla species is similar to other taxa in Antarctoperlaria, such as Diamphipnopsis Illies, 1960 and Zelandoperla Tillyard, 1923.
