The main research activities are focused on biology of plant animal interactions mediated by sugary secretion. Nectar chemistry appeared to be determinant in shaping such interactions. Thus most of the research efforts are committed to determine new nectar molecules that are possible candidates to be tested as behavioural modulator in animals.
