Main research activities/topics/projects

Evolutionary ecology: basic and applied research. Effect of anthropogenic changes on animal behaviour and evolution, with specific aim at investigating the conservation implications. Specific focus is on freshwater environment and fishes, but opportunity to study other organisms (e.g. insects and birds) are also available. Possibility to work on field stations in Italy (Matera and Western Alps), as well as in the Marine Station in Chioggia.
