1. Study of the molecular mechanisms of plant-microbe interactions, with focus on the characterization of the mode of action and the homeostasis of elicitors.

2. Study of the role of the cell wall in plant development and responses to biotic stresses.
3. Valorization of algal and agri-food waste biomass to produce green plant biostimulants and for the cultivation of algae.
