The candidate will be involved in field and lab research to understand old-growth forest dynamics in relation to naturalness and climate-change.

Research interests:

Tree Traits; Tree-Ring Science; Electronic Dendrometers; Forest Phenology; Forest Demographics; Forest Phenology.

Working language

English or Italian

 

Special entry requirements

Forest Survey, tree dendrometers; tree-ring or quantitative plant anatomy analysis; Knowledge of R language, GIS/remote sensing software

Duration in months (min-max)

Master Research: 6-12

PhD sandwich: 6-12

Post Doc: 6-12
