Investigating xylem phenotypic plasticity through an allometric approach

  • What it is

Mobility experience with a research focus

  • Who it’s for

    PhD sandwich, Post Doc

Department

Territorio e Sistemi Agro-Forestali (TeSAF) – PhD School of Land, Environment, Resources and Health, University of Padova

Main research activities/topics/projects

Successful candidates will work in a stimulating research environment at the Lab of Forest Ecology, focusing on xylem functional traits—particularly wood anatomy and xylem hydraulic properties. The main research objective is to analyze axial variation in these traits and assess the amplitude of their phenotypic plasticity.

Duration in months (min-max)
