The primary research focus is on agricultural economics. The key topics and methodologies include:

  • Risk management
  • Policy and project evaluation
  • Analysis of farm income.
  • Econometrics and Statistics

The research team aim to support the researcher in integrating methodologies in order to provide evaluations, reports and papers for policymakers, researchers and academic audiences.

Prospective candidates can be integrated into research fields that focus on:

  • Applying methods to real-world data for policy analysis.
  • Evaluating topics using empirical data.
  • Assessing policies aimed at achieving sustainable economic and social outcomes.

Furthermore, it can support the integration of his skills in machine learning and econometric tools.

Working language

The working language for these research activities can be either Italian or English, accommodating a diverse range of candidates. This flexibility ensures that language barriers do not impede participation in cutting-edge research projects.

 

Special entry requirements

 It is particularly important that they can work effectively both independently and collaboratively, as interaction is crucial to achieving the research activity's objectives. Proficiency in statistical and econometric software, such as R and Stata, is desirable. Additionally, candidates should be able to writein academic English.
