The difficulty in obtaining detailed data on academic mobility for a large sample of individuals has not so far allowed a longitudinal and multilevel analysis.
MOBILITI, starting from the CVs made available by the “Abilitazione Scientifica Nazionale” in the period 2012-2018 and integrating this information with data on the population of academics in Italy, originates a unique database that will allow an all-encompassing analysis of the phenomenon.
Moreover, given the complexity of the information processed, the project will combine typical social science approaches with semantic publishing techniques typical of computer engineering.
