Overview

The Winter School is organized in the framework of UNAEuropa and the Cooperation Agreement between the University partners of the Program Erasmus+ 2021 − 27 KA1 Learning Mobility of Individuals.

The school is co-organized by the scientific committee of the UMI Group MIVA (Matematica delle Immagini, della Visione e loro Applicazioni)

Teaching

The winter school consists of four theoretical blocks each taught by a different partner: KTH Royal Institute of Technology, UNIFI, UNIEDI, UCA. Each of the 4 blocks is complemented by a lab session and exercise session.

In the afternoon sessions, seminars given by Italian and European experts in emerging sectors of imaging for a wide range of application fields will be organized in a blended format.

The total number of hours will be 36, split over two consecutive weeks. A number of 4 ECTS will be assigned.

Courses by invited lecturers:

An overview on computational aspects and applications will be given by Prof. Serena Morigi, Prof. Marco Prato, Prof. Marco Donatelli and Dr. Matteo Santacesaria.

Virtual Section and Final Exam:

On 6/02/2023.

The virtual section part represents the examination part which brings the learners together online to work collectively and/or individually on specific assignments integrated in the blended intensive programme and evaluate the overall learning outcomes.

Location

The winter school will take place at the Department of Mathematics, University of Bologna, Bologna, Italy (UNIBO).
