International conference on Innovative Surgical & Interventional Techniques - June 11-13, 2025
It is our great privilege to invite you to attend the inaugural international conference on Innovative Surgical & Interventional Techniques (ISIT 2025) that will be held in Bologna, Italy on June 11-13, 2025.
The healthcare system is witnessing an unprecedented surge of innovative technology. This epochal change is shaping virtually all disciplines of surgery and interventional medicine.
The computer has made its way inside our operating rooms and interventional suites aiding the healthcare provider in the implementation of increasingly complex techniques.
The international scientific community is being invested at once with a great opportunity and an important responsibility of channeling this exciting and extraordinary acceleration according to criteria of scientific rigor, economic sustainability, cost-effectiveness, standardization of practices and -above all- patient’s safety.
It is in this context that the ISIT conference was born setting itself out as a unique and novel scientific venue and collaborative network where experts coming from different walks of life bring in their specific expertise and share their knowledge with each other to further advance the field.
Our conference prioritizes novelty, invention, origination and thus represents the ideal environment for those innovators who are at the forefront of minimally invasive, robotic, and computer-assisted surgery and interventional medicine. We welcome potentially disrupting technology and techniques even if they are in their infancy.
Furthermore, you will truly enjoy your staying in Bologna that has a beautiful city center dating to the middle age and the Renaissance and dominated by the 97.2 meters-498 steps tall Asinelli Tower (Torre degli Asinelli) and encompassed by the 62 km of 12th century UNESCO heritage-listed porticoes.
Bologna has been named the world's food capital by 2022 readers of the luxury travel magazine Condé Nast Traveler because of its large collection of top-tier restaurants and delicious, traditionally cooked, and freshly made pastas and dishes.
Bologna is also home to the Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna that represents the oldest university in continuous operation in the world and features the magnificent Archiginnasio Palace, once the main building of the university and now housing the Municipal Library and the Anatomical Theatre. The former boasts the largest heraldic collection in the world and the latter represents one of the oldest and finest historical anatomical theaters in the world.
We look forward seeing you in Bologna and will make every possible effort to make sure you will find the attendance to the conference very valuable and your staying in Bologna very enjoyable.
Yours sincerely,
The Organizing Committee
