Fellow assegnee

I received an assignment letter, what is next?

Before arrival

1. Accept the Fellowship

Confirm via e-mail the acceptance of the Visiting Fellowship for the agreed period upon the receipt of the formal assignment letter.

2. Communicate the exact date of arrival

Communicate to the Administration office the exact date and time of your arrival.
As a rule, the period begins on the first working day of the month and terminates on the last working day of the month.

3. Contribution

The administration office will send you via e-mail all the necessary documents for signature.

4. Check entry rules to Italy and your health insurance

We will provide you with an injury and third-party liability insurance coverage (RCT) limited to the activities indicated and regulated by the contract and that take place within the structures of the University.

The Fellowship does not confer the right to receive social security or access national health services. However, as established by University regulations, you are required to obtain appropriate medical, accident and civil liability insurance.

Check therefore some useful information for using the healthcare services in Italy.

During the visit

1. Schedule an appointment with our administration office

Our administration office will register your arrival.

2. Obtain institutional credentials and badge

In order to receive your UniBo badge, refer to your proponent. It is your hosting department that will assist you with the request of a University badge. UniBo credentials give you access to the online services; the badge grants you access to other Unibo facilities.
