The advent of precision medicine marks a milestone in how we approach health challenges. This transformation, driven by a biotechnological revolution, brings us closer to providing personalized treatments through the identification of our genetic profile. A significant challenge, however, still lies in linking this profile with specific diseases, a task where artificial intelligence (AI) plays a crucial role. In this talk, I will delve into how the synergy between the academic and technological realms, particularly through AI advancements, is overcoming this obstacle. We will explore how these innovations, even without a complete solution, can lead to beneficial outcomes for patients and their families, thereby highlighting the importance of incremental progress in precision medicine.
