Professor Federal University of São Carlos, Brazil
Professor at the Federal University of São Carlos, head of the Laboratory of Paleobiology and Astrobiology, and member of the Group of Optical Spectroscopy and Raman Scattering. Her research bridges astrobiology and paleontology, addressing key gaps in the detection, formation, and preservation of biosignatures. Current projects investigate fossils from diverse temporal and environmental contexts to reconstruct geobiological processes and diagenetic pathways, combining field studies with experimental and multi-technical approaches, including synchrotron accelerators and advanced spectroscopies.
