Ralf Wessel is Professor of Physics at Washington University in St. Louis, working at the intersection of physics, neuroscience, and AI. His research explores neural population dynamics, links between deep learning and brain computation, and the computational aesthetics of mosaic art. He develops mathematical and AI-based models to understand perception, intelligence, and aesthetic experience.
