Dr. Rosano is a tenured Professor of Epidemiology at the University of Pittsburgh, leading programs in neuroscience, gerontology, and movement control. She directs the NIH-funded T32 Training Program in Population Neuroscience of Aging and studies mobility resilience in aging and disease, integrating neuroimaging, epidemiology, and geriatric medicine. Her work examines why some individuals maintain high mobility despite age or illness, with findings across diverse populations. She has published extensively in top journals and delivered keynote addresses internationally.
