Project evaluation

Two phases

1. The ISA Scientific Board will identify all the projects deserving attention and meeting the criteria set out in the Call for proposals and will publish the list of selected projects on the ISA website;

2. Should your project be selected, you will be invited to present it at Palazzo Marchesini to the ISA Scientific Board and to the Visiting Fellows involved in ISA activities.

What is next

Awarding the prize

The prize will be transferred to the Department where the PhD programme is based as a fund for each PhD student who is awarded the ISA Doctoral Prize.

Within one year of being awarded the prize, each winner shall send to the ISA Administrative Office a brief report, digitally signed by the relevant PhD Programme Director, certifying that the sum has been used for research activities relating to the project selected by the Scientific Council (e.g. co-financing publications, support for participation in conferences, financing other scientific products connected or functional to the PhD student's research). The PhD student undertakes to cite the ISA contribution, and specifically the ISA DP, in the acknowledgements featuring in any publication, conference abstract or other scientific product created as a result of the ISA DP and in the final version of the PhD thesis.
