Event location: La Sapienza - University of Rome
On 1 December 2025, the UNiSL National Forum was held at La Sapienza - University of Rome. The title of this year's event was "The Perimeters of Service-Learning in the University Context: research, didactics and impact".
The forum was organized by La Sapienza and the UNiSL Association (Italian University Association for Service-Learning), and was a day full of conferences and sessions aimed at the discussion of Service-Learning and its impact on research and didactics, connecting universities and communities.
IN.TRA was represented by doctoral student Patrycja Lidia Stempniewicz, who participated in the interactive poster portion held in the afternoon, "Experiences on Display: Service-Learning in action". She presented the many activities carried out by IN.TRA last year and the community partners with which students had the opportunity to collaborate.
The event began with institutional remarks , followed by a presentation from Professor Michael Schratz, professor emeritus at the University of Innsbruck and international consultant for scholastic innovation systems. His lecture, "Transformative Experience: How to Capture the Invisible", explored the effects of Service-Learning on its participants. Following Prof. Schratz's remarks, a round table was held to encourage discussion among universities, business, communities and local actors.
