The Inside the Virtual booth: the impact of remote interpreting settings on interpreter experience and performance project was funded by the 2020 Research Grant of AIIC, the International Association of Conference Interpreters. 

The project, led by Agnieszka Chmiel (Adam Mickiewicz Univerity)and Nicoletta Spinolo (University of Bologna), aims at investigating the impact of different Remote Simultaneous Interpreting (RSI) configurations on the interpreters' experience and performance, through a two-stage design including a survey (stage 1) and an experiment (stage 2) collecting eyetracking, performance and self-reported data.
