Il workshop ha lo scopo di presentare e condividere con il pubblico i principali risultati di due progetti di ricerca:
- uRban hEat and pollution iSlands inTerAction in Rome and possible miTigation strategies (RESTART)
- Multi-scale investiGation of natuRe-basEd solutions for thE mitigatioN of urban heat and POLlution ISland (GREEN-POLIS)
L'obiettivo è quello di presentare una visione integrata delle conoscenze acquisite sui fenomeni di isola di calore e inquinamento urbano e sulle strategie di mitigazione basate su soluzioni innovative e naturali.
aims at studying the efficacy of selected Nature-Based Solutions (NBSs) in mitigating the negative effects caused by the Urban Heat Island (UHI) and the Urban Pollution Island (UPI). The investigation will be conducted in a multiscale perspective, ranging from the street and building scale to the city neighbourhood.
