Défaillance - Psychological effects of war on children

When a war begins, its impact endures in walls, streets, memories and collective memory, becoming a lingering shadow that divides factions. "Défaillance" tells the stories of children who lived their first six years in a war context, and of children whose fate was drastically shaped by the violence. Through this photographic project, the psychological, emotional and social impact these children have suffered after traumatic events is documented.
