My Erasmus experience in Bologna - Laura Mejuto
This year was amazing, but let’s start for the beginning.
Before coming in September 2017, when I started the lessons, I had been here in June in order to look for an apartment because some friends had told me it would be difficult, and it was. Finally I found an apartment with two girls from Spain.
So when I came here in September I already had an apartment, something that many people didn’t have and they were still stressed looking for something.
At the University I was very lost at the beginning, we didn’t know where were the classes, the practices, where to look for the exam dates and we felt completly lost.
Some weeks later, after asking to other italian students and the teachers we started to find the things.
This year I made two Tirocinio, and I found them both interesting, even if one took a hole month with many hours.
The lessons depended on the teacher, some of them were boring and more at the beginning when I didn’t understand italian very well. Other were very interesting with good teachers.
When I arrived here I had a little idea about italian but most part of it I learned it here, going out with italian people and going to University and studing in italian. At the beginning it looked difficult but after listening to it all day I was able to learn quite quickly. Most part of exams were oral and I was a little afraid of that but if you try to speak italian as much as you can you will learn it quickly and exams won’t be a problem.
This city is perfect to study, always full of people and there’s always something to do, it’s very beautiful and full of life. The experience in general was amazing, it makes you grow and learn. I really recommend this city to study.
