Regency Mania

Two days dedicated to the English Regency era, which was a period of extraordinary cultural vitality that the contemporary imagination keeps exploring and reconfiguring in a great variety of forms.

CISR, in collaboration with JASIT, announces the event titled "Regency Mania":
25 October: academic study day;
26 October: English Literature students will try their hand at staging the Regency play Lovers' Vows, by Elizabeth Inchbald. The play will be performed in the morning at DAMSLab. Free entry event, subject to availability.

The event, open also to the public outside UNIBO, is organized by Serena Baiesi and Carlotta Farese of CISR (Inter-University Centre for the Study of Romanticism) at UNIBO in collaboration with JASIT (Jane Austen Society of Italy).
