La nuova Via della Seta: percorsi di sostenibilità della moda nei rapporti Italia-Cina

The "New Silk Road": Fashion sustainability paths in the context of Italy-China relations

Organized by the University of Insubria, the event will be held on Friday October 16th from 10:00 to 12:00 a.m., with the participation of Cav. Lav. Mario Boselli, President of Fondazione Italia-Cina and former President of National Chamber of Fashion. The meeting is part of the Project of relevant national interest (PRIN) «The One Belt - One Road Initiative» (OBOR).

The event will serve as an opportunity to discuss on the new challenges in the context of textile and fashion, eight years after the publication of the «Manifesto della sostenibilità per la moda italiana», promoted by the National Chamber of Fashion in 2021 and in the light of the OBOR-related projects. 

The professors involved in the research, figures of the fashion world, among which: Paolo Aquilini, Director of the Silk Museum of Como; Fulvio Alvisi, President of the Association of textile Designers; Stefano Vitali, President of the Ufficio Italiano Seta and the fashion designers Gilberto Calzolari and Cristiano Burani will discuss the subject of the event with cav. Boselli.
