The project

The project aims at designing an interpreting training module through an e-learning platform containing type and modality-based innovative materials for the students of the MA Programme in Interpreting. This platform will provide a language-independent, cross-curricular common cluster of self-study activities to be completed by each student on their own or in small working groups. The general objectives underpinning the entire online training module are: encouraging self-study and self-learning as part of interpreting training; fostering peer-to-peer cooperation by creating small working groups of peer-learners; promoting the use of digital technology for interpreting, especially in a collaborative way; creating a common training module to reinforce cross-curricular skills using Italian as a vehicular working language; acquiring optional ECTS upon the completion of the whole e-learning module and lightening the traditional in-presence teaching/learning workload.
