IO3 - MANUAL OF BEST PRACTICES FOR A BLENDED FLEXIBLE ACTIVITY IN ARCHITECTURE FOR HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS

Dear Scholar,
within the ARCHEA - ARCHitectural European medium-sized city Arrangement project, we are preparing a volume that collects the experience of teaching architecture (in particular architectural and urban design) in its flexible and blended version.
ARCHEA is a project funded by the European Community that involves five universities: UNIBO - Alma Mater studiorum University of Bologna; RWTH Aachen - Rheinisch-Westfälische Technische Hochschule; POLSL - Politechnika Slaska; UNIPR - University of Parma and ENSA Normandie - Ecole nationale supérieure d'architecture de Normandie.
In this regard, we invite you to participate in the research with a written contribution of about 10,000 characters in English that describes your direct experience of teaching architecture in the flexible and blended version and the relative methods of interaction between teacher-student or laboratory-audience (exhibitions, virtual seminars, etc.), or participation in debates.
The essay must also contain technical and practical aspects related to the methods of sharing work (platforms, cloud spaces, etc.), methods of iteration (software, apps, etc.), methods of presentation and dissemination of the final works (virtual exhibitions, video, etc.).
The essay must also contain illustrative images.
The selected essays will be published in the IO3 Manual (Open Access book with ISBN by FAEdizioni of Parma, editor of the international class A scientific journal FAM. Research and projects on architecture and the city).
The deadline for sending the material is no later than July 25, 2021 at archea@unibo.it.
