Mentoring Programme: Alumni for Alumni

Those who have already completed the journey can guide those about to begin. Academic and professional experience constitutes a valuable asset to be placed at the service of others.

  • Alumni Mentoring Program 2026

Project: Networks and Skills, Bridges Between Universities and the World of Work - Ref. PA 2023-21302/RER, co-funded by the Emilia-Romagna Region - Regional Law for Attracting and Developing Talent

The Alumni Mentoring Program was created to enable graduates of the University of Bologna to share their experiences and knowledge with students and recent graduates, helping them take their first steps into the world of work.

The Almae Matris Alumni Association and the University of Bologna offer the Mentoring 2026 Program for students enrolled in their final year and Alumni who graduated no more than two years ago: a guidance and support pathway provided by a senior Alumna/Alumnus who has gained professional experience to share with younger generations of Alumni.

A free “one-to-one” program that brings together Alumni Mentors and Mentees in a path of growth and exchange to explore career opportunities and make informed choices about their future.

What are the goals of the program?

  • Share experiences, knowledge, and expertise
  • Give and receive help and support
  • Develop your professional network
  • Create opportunities

Why become a Mentor

To help support the talents of the future by sharing your knowledge and experience, knowing that your contribution can play an important role in fostering the professional and career growth of young Alumni.

Why become a Mentee

To rely on a guide who can offer advice on career paths and help you enhance the skills and talents that can make a difference.

The Call for Mentees will open in September 2026.
