After graduating with honours in Geography from the University of Bologna and earning a master's degree with honours in Urban, Regional and Environmental Planning from IUAV University of Venice, Lorenzo Pandolfi moved to the United Kingdom in 2013, where he has built an international career at the intersection of urban planning, real estate and professional networking.
Today, he is the founder and director of Logic Planning, a London-based planning consultancy that advises developers, investors and organisations on residential, commercial, hospitality and mixed-use projects across England, guiding projects from strategic vision through to planning permission.
In 2015, he founded FORMA, which began as an informal gathering of Italian professionals and has since grown into the largest community of Italian architects, designers and built environment consultants in the United Kingdom. In 2020, he also established the Italian Real Estate Club, an independent network bringing together investors, developers and leading figures from the Italian real estate sector operating across the UK and Europe.
His appointment as an Honorary Fellow of the RIBA comes during a particularly significant year. Pandolfi has also been awarded the Freedom of the City of London and admitted to the Worshipful Company of Chartered Architects.
A Fellow of the Academy of Urbanism, Pandolfi combines his professional practice with a strong commitment to sharing knowledge about the British planning system. He is the author of the newsletter Town Planning Strategies and the book How to Thrive in the Planning Jungle, which has inspired a series of lectures and seminars hosted by universities, architecture firms and professional organisations across Europe.
At the heart of his work is a longstanding commitment to building connections between people, expertise and institutions, encouraging the exchange of ideas, talent and opportunities between Italy and the United Kingdom. This approach has made Lorenzo Pandolfi a leading figure within the Italian professional community in the UK and has now earned him international recognition.
"I have always believed that when the right people come together in the same room, remarkable things happen: friendships, careers and projects are born; sometimes, small communities become movements," said Pandolfi. "Relationships are infrastructure: they allow ideas, trust and opportunities to flow."
